Tendani’s research interests lie in microbial ecology. She is fascinated by the hidden microbial interactions that regulate biogeochemical cycling and how these processes underpin ecosystem functioning. She has experience working with engineered systems, such as biodigesters, and now focuses on the Blue Carbon Ecosystems, particularly seagrass meadows.
